Our Commitment

We who have gathered here to learn, teach and practice the sacred art of the Daka / Dakini tradition have prescribed our commitment as follows:

1) We consecrate all our actions and doing so we dedicate all our actions and all their fruits to the True Nature of Being - such is the practice of Consecration, of transcending Karma.

2) Seeing the True Nature manifest through Bodies and Egos, we will Teach, Guide, Practice and Commune the sacred art of the Daka / Dakini - such is the practice of Namaste, of seeing the Divine.

3) All our Teachings, Guidance and Practices are dedicated through Love to helping all beings realize their True Nature and become the Enlightened beings that they are - such is the practice of Bodhichitta, of Selfless Love.

For the sake of common understanding, we further explain our commitment as follows:

1) Recognizing that Tantra is beyond any single Aspect and Concept, we will NOT commit to Healing or improving the Self or any single aspect of it.

2) Recognizing that Tantra is beyond the Dualistic view of Accepting and Rejecting, we will act, Guide, Practice and Teach from a space of attentiveness, without prejudice.

3) Recognizing that Tantra is beyond the Conceptual Mind, we will teach the art of the Daka / Dakini through Practice and Direct Experience.

For the sake of common language and intention, we agree with the following:

Tantra, derived from Tantoi and Trayati, is a word signifying the moment of Total Realization - the moment of Enlightenment. The Hindus Rishi Seers saw it as the Weaving of the energy body into the very fabric of the universe and so we found the literal word to mean “Weaving.” The Tibetans saw it as the Expansion of the energy body into infinity and so we found the literal word to mean “Expansion.”

Enlightenment is the Direct Experience and realization of our own True Nature. The established Direct Experience is the only true intention of any Tantric Practice.

Gateways (Bardo-s) exist that allow us a direct experience of our True Nature. Passing through these gateways, we can experience Tantra. Among the powerful practices that lead us to these gateways are the practices of Sexual Energy, Breath, Death, Sleep, and the Moment.

The Daka / Dakini, also known as the Sky Dancers, are here as sacred servants to the True Nature of Being itself. They playfully and joyfully guide people to experience their True Nature through the different Gateways and many practices they have practiced.

Such is our Commitment - we have read its content and have agreed to it in fullness.

Namaste.
